1. Use serums to protect your skin
They are lightweight and have the ability to penetrate deep into your skin, says Frank Cook Bolden, director of dermatology in New York. Look for creams that contain both protective and anti-aging creams to prevent signs of stress-free skin. The order in which you apply your products may be more important than the products themselves.
Take serums first, as they contain the most active ingredients. If you are using more than one active product (such as the antioxidant serum Retin A), start with the thinner product. “Anything water-soluble should start first, followed by a thicker, softer product.
